I don't imagine it looking too bad
    and This.

It's not too bad. Get rid of the stray orange, wet sand and buff, put some black wheels on it, and roll out. Looks ok to me for 8 bills.

I'm thinking the gloss is a blessing. Some trim paint on the un wanted orange bits won't look bad.

I know those feels bro, when you care about a car and get excited. I got screwed on my first E30 as well, but I learned and now I'm building something I like.

You want cheap, you got cheap. Lesson learned. Now you know why a real paintjob costs thousands, not hundreds.

I know you wanted matte orange, but the gloss is a blessing. But now you want it repainted. So more qustionable work will go into the paint job and more layers of paint!!!

But you should think about the Jager!!! Could be cool!

Put a large 01 on the doors and throw a flag on the roof. Problem solved.

what's done is done. being rude/angry at them won't help you. quality is subjective, and would be hard to argue that.

choose your arguments based on facts. they didn't paint it the color that you agreed (gloss vs semi). refuse to pay based on that. you didn't get what you originally agreed to pay for. bring up the things that they broke.

then get the f out of there. don't entertain the idea of them painting it flat black.

then next time, do some research beforehand. knowledge & patience is power when it comes to these things.

For future reference, if you weren't sure on the color, you weren't ready to get it painted.

I have been in the workings to paint my car for a few months now, and I still won't do it until summer. I want to be 100% about what I want and my plans for the car. Just deal with what you have now, pay the shitty shop their money, and learn from this mistake.

You should have seen this coming.
