How to clean and renew plastic bumper strips?

My front and rear bumper strips appear to be worn and faded, how do I make them looking new again?

pull them off, sand out any light scratches - fill if needed. Paint them with Duplicolor trim or SEM trim paint.

Replace them with new ones from the dealer is the best way.

If you pull them off you'll break clips, I would just replace them [with Euro would be best]

Mother's "back to black" is a good product if the color is just faded.

yeah if you don't mind reapplying it once every 2-3 days, and you like the look of splotchy plastic.

mine were broke. i got some off a parts car from Jordan. they were old, but Duplicolor Trim paint worked well and they looked newer.

No products other than paint will completely restore faded plastic.

Painting, or even better, buying new parts would be the best choice, but if you want the really easy way out, try Tire/Trim wax.

You can buy a paste that you buff on with a cloth, that restores the blackness, and it's also supposed to protect the material from UV ray and such. From my experience, the effect lasts considerably longer than those spray/roll on trim gloss.

But in all honesty, I think it's time for you to go euro trims.

I actually wax most of the trim on my car (in the shade of course), keeps it from turning gray, and using a cleaner wax takes out a lot of the oxidization (especially the trim on the doors).
