Painting, or even better, buying new parts would be the best choice, but if you want the really easy way out, try Tire/Trim wax.
You can buy a paste that you buff on with a cloth, that restores the blackness, and it's also supposed to protect the material from UV ray and such. From my experience, the effect lasts considerably longer than those spray/roll on trim gloss.
But in all honesty, I think it's time for you to go euro trims.~ Go Canucks Go! ~

I actually wax most of the trim on my car (in the shade of course), keeps it from turning gray, and using a cleaner wax takes out a lot of the oxidization (especially the trim on the doors).Comment
