Very Strange e30 body kit, anyone know what this is?
So I was walking to class yesterday downtown, in Chicago, and i came across this beast. I have never seen anything like it. Does anyone know what kit this is and who made it? It also had a strange M-style steering wheel ive never seen before... Heres a video of the whole thing.

That kit/grills and steering wheel came out well before VIS copied it...lol. The steering wheel is a Momo steering wheel as sold by BMP back in the day.
Folger comes to mind...without the widebody. I don't know who made that kit originally. I thought it might have been Hartge but can't find any evidence. All I know is they were popular in the 90's. I've seen a Folger widebody and the other was like the cabrio above. Both had the funky grills on them. BMP sold a lot of Folger stuff. Probably came from them since they were the only ones selling that particular steering wheel. I also remember seeing a pic of a white cab with that exact kit in their old catalog.

Shit, back in the day, this was ultra baller. It did away with the metal bumpers and gave the car a new look no one really saw before. Like it or not...it was very period correct. Here's the folger wiidebidy
