So I live in CA where it is practically impossible to get the Dap Landau glue to replace my top any suggestions on something a little more widely available that's still fairly good?
My roof was slashed last year and I'm finally getting around to putting a pvc top on, I'm not trying to get anything great out of the new roof, just keep the rain out, Winter is Coming.

I used 3M headliner spray contact adhesive to rewrap my bars when they came undone, they're still fine after the summer of putting the roof up and down. But no idea if it would work elsewhere.

you really can't get Dap Landau glue.... I just went to lowes and got it...Home Depo or Lowes has some sort of temperature resistant contact cement.
Just tell the assistant your laminating your counter over your dish washer and you don't want it to bubble. They'll have something...
If all else fails go to a boat store and get marine sealant, it's pricy but it's temperature and water proof.

Seems to me that polyurethane is the adhesive of choice. Tough as hell, flexible and holds.

If you have some left over and want to part with it let me know. I need to retouch the material that wraps around the center bars on my convertable top as I used the DAP contact cement and it held for about 3 months and then started peeling back some.

got the dap I guess for us cal guys you just have to be lucky when looking for it. just went and got the rest of the materials from madcabs tutorial, I'm ripping the old roof off tomorrow.

so each State must have its own regulations on some of the components used in DAP Landau. My upholstery guy told me to use 3M Trim Adhesive which is available at appx. $20/can from many distributors including Amazon and Walmart.

Anyone have a preferred spray gun for this stuff?
