I will be getting prices together on all the items mentioned here today. I should have a somewhat decent price list within a week or so. I'm liking a lot of the things I'm seeing. I'm going to need to get in touch with some of you if you have access to the parts we need molds for, and we can work something out in terms of compensation/free parts. If you are in the LA/IE area, and have something you could loan us... Shoot me a PM. If it is something that VIS already produces that you may be looking for, I can get it to you at a discounted rate. Those items we will not need such high interest in, as I can get them by piece. Like I said, I appreciate all the input, and hope we can keep this thread rolling! On pieces I see most interest in, I will start organizing group buys. At that point after the initial run, we will no longer need the group buy as we can start selling those items by piece as well. Thank you guys!!!Comment

The main issue I see is who is going to put money up front for products that we don't know what the quality/fit is. I suggest that the initial price be quite low with the understanding that if the initial offerings are well reviewed then you can set a reasonable price. The initial low price is just a necessity. I wouldn't buy a cf hood for $500 for instance without prior positive feedback.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. -Mark TwainComment

I understand 100%. For the pieces we will be making from scratch, we will need donor vehicles to do our test fitting. As I explained in a previous post, those who assist us will be receiving that product at no cost. Once the finished piece comes back, we will see what adjustments will need to be made, and ensure near perfect fitment before these items go on sale. For any items that VIS currently sells, does anyone have any input on fitment (hoods, trunks, spoilers, kits)? The owner says that any fitment issues of the past have since been resolved, but if anyone here has experience, please let me know so I can get feedback directly to him. I had another meeting with everyone today, and now have a price list for the items which they currently sell, for members of this forum. This includes all offerings from VIS. Our price will be much less than retail as you will see once I have the time to post. I may be posting the price list in the retail section, so keep your eyes peeled. I spoke to the owner about his widebody offerings, and he will be getting back to me sometime next week with more details. Thanks, once again for your feedback you guys! Alright, sorry to have disappeared for the last few days but I've been running around like crazy. I also wanted to make sure I had approval to post the price list directly to the forums. I am currently doing my best to have the min 20 piece "group buy" waived if I can be absolutely sure that the market is there for certain items. What I have heard so far, is that the "is" lip will be a good place to start if the price is right. This week sometime I will be getting to VIS to talk options for pricing, then be back to you guys for more input. We are also going to be using the molds for ABS versions to give you all options. I will be posting the price list in the retail forum for their current products, and will also be adding many other parts/accessories to go along with that. I can get pretty much anything your mind could imagine. Seats, wheels, steering wheels, kits, CF, clothing, shift knobs, suspension, at a lower price than anywhere else. When I get home, I will post the price list... so look for that. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. I have responded to a few PM's but have to get to the rest tonight I hope. Thanks again!Comment

just some constructive advice here .... I wouldnt waste my time on anything but functional parts. The majority of e30 owners have a hard time spending 120 on an OE IS lip . And what are you gaining by having a CF IS lip?? nothing. Stick to functional pieces that actually have a purpose rather than poser parts. You also better make sure the fit is perfect because the guys that are going to spring for big dollar parts are going to be M3 guys who are fanatics. I wouldnt bolt a VIS on my car from what Ive seen. As stated before, Theres a thread like this every month and nobody ever follows through,.. If you made excellent fitting hoods, M3 front bumpers and fenders Id be your first customerComment
