Still haven't touched it, as my m50 swap is underway. I'm thinking of a cut and weld, to be honest. When I take the car to have the exhaust welded I'll see what they say at first glance and report back. All other options like bolting through the floor or extending the bracket back to mount into the auto points seem a bit too hacked up..
As for the weight, it doesn't hold much, as was mentioned. It holds up fine with just the drivers side bolt tight, but I think causes the driveline vibration I have from 60-80kph.1988 Atlantisblau Euro/Japanese 325i Cabriolet
