    Opinion: Flat black hood? (worst hood evar content)

    This is my hood...I was thinking of painting it flat black but would like some input from my fellow e30ers...plans are to get the whole car painted eventually anyways sooooooo...........

                      I think it would look good. And what do you have to lose? Might end up looking pretty good.

                      You could go REALLY ghetto and get contact paper from a craft store and cover it in that. They sell it in all kinds of colors and even in different textures. Imagine a faux swede hood!

                        HA! suprisingly the rest of the car looks great when its washed and waxed! Up until about 2 1/2 years ago I rocked some Mercedes 300D amber fogs until I hit a guardrail and squished the passenger front fender and curled the hood under. I pulled a hood off of an 85 318i in the junkyard hence the paint scab thing...

                        anyways, I'll be flat black-ing as soon as I find the time...thanks for the input!
