Faded euro plate filler, best way to restore?

I scored a euro plate filler for cheap, its a bit faded but not real bad, do you guys think I would be better off painting it or using a product like Back To Black or New Look Trim Gel? I just want it to look legit on my daily driver.

SEM Trim paint and primer.

Paint or try dyeing. I've had great success with Bondo Restore to Black.

I'm guessing the Bondo product is another one similar to the Back to Black or Chemical Guys stuff? The only downfall to these it seems is that they need to be periodically reapplied.

I'll look into the SEM stuff since it seems highly recommended for this kind of thing, though I have had great luck with simple Krylon semi-flat black for restoring satin black on metal trim.

SEM trim paint is your best bet. It's gonna make your other peices look antiquated.

Don't use "back to black" - my experience is that once it wears off, you plastic/rubber will be left more gray then when you started.

SEM stuff is nice cause it has a texture built into the paint that looks very OEM.

I was very fond of this at first, but it has since faded back to gray. Took a few months, but next time I would do something with more lifespan.

SEM trim paint. Clean with Dawn dish detergent and "Light Grey" 3M scuff pad. Rinse with clean water and let it dry. 1 light coat and 2 wet coats (note recoat time on can). It will look like new!

I've used it on a MK2 Jetta I once had for all the bumper plastic and trim. Worked great and lasted at least a year before needing to be re-done. Here is more info:

I've used what Nitro suggested. Worked great on a is spoiler I did for a friend. Also another thing that will work is a good tire shine.

Subbed. Good ideas! I'll try the boiled linseed oil stuff on my plate filler and euro grilles, and euro bumper trim this thanksgiving break!
