How bad is my rust?

So far besides a little tiny spot on the rear bumper this is all the rust I have found when I tore out my interior.

What are we looking at here to fix? I am a little worried about the passenger side.

The passenger side is gonna need to be cut out. The rest could probably be taken off with a wire wheel and a drill. The thing about rust is there's always more than you can see. Just be patient when fixing, bodywork is an art.

Most of it doesn't look too bad, but I'm thinking the bit that's under the tar insulation is gonna have to be cut and welded. Hit it with a wire wheel and see what you end up with.

Thanks, I knew the passenger side would need to be cut out, I think I am going to hire someone for that, its pretty close to the wiring.

Wire brush for the rest sounds good, the drivers side really looked surface in person, the passenger side I could definitely poke through with a screwdriver.

Looks can be deceiving. Especially when it comes to rust. Look for any raised paint. If you don't get all of it, it will continue to eat up your car.

Good call, I am going through the whole floor wire brushing it down to see if I see anything. The outside of the car is really good no bubbles except one on the bottom corner of the right rear bumper and its the size of a quarter.

Dude, I will cut everythig out, rivet the shit outta that floor the put fiberglass patching .. Problem solved ... I drive cars, not show cars ! Tomorrow im changing the head gasket on this fresh blown rebuild engine :)) and rape this lil gem like theres no tomorrow what u have there is nothing :)! I was thinking to rhinoline the whole floorboard !

that hole in zal's floor looks like mine would look like if I was willing to remove the carpet, but since I can touch the carpet on the passenger side floor from outside the car ima just keep looking for a mostly rust free shell and not spend the time fixing that. I just tell people to not stomp on the passenger floor, innless they want a short and painful view of under the car.

Yea I am pretty far in now I dont feel like getting another shell, I dont think its too bad, well at least not what it will cost me to get another car.
