      I'm not entirely sure yet,
I was planning on building it for Autocross/weekend use in the STX class. But I might wind up selling it after all the body work is done to help fund my next project and pay off my credit card. (It would be a good M50/S50 swap candidate, the M20 is burning oil like it's the cool thing to do, and it leaks power steering fluid.

Damn fine work, Erik. Looking like the real thing still happens.

My Dad was a bodyman...for 50 years. I lived in a body shop he built when I was a kid. Good times!

It is a shame that you don't live closer. I have a shell I am gonna dump. all of those areas are rust free and striaght.

Beautiful work, fab and all. Keep it up!

What color is it gonna be when done?

                    I agree whole-heartedly, but find me a 1900lb e30 with a full interior.

Colorwise, Bronzit. I think it looks good with black accents. (I'll be shadowlining the trim eventually, and tucking the bumpers too, but not at this exact moment. (rust repair is too much work to leave time for other stuff. I am gonna roll the fenders before it's painted though)

I extend my personal gratitude for resurrecting an ailing e30. There need to be more ppl like you.

                      Great work!

Yesterday I Patched the hole in the trunk

And rolled the fenders (is this enough?)

I would roll them more. looks like you mostly just got it at the top.

good job on the resto. that was quite a bit of rust!

It's hard to tell from the pics, but the bend occured at the edge of the fender lip, it changed from about a 90 degree bend to about a 30 degree bend.

Does it need to be bent flat? I've got a crap load of undercoating in there that I'd have to scrape out first.

very nice. i like bodywork too. however i'm pretty noob and i dont know two things: how to make filler perfectly flush with the body and how to paint so that you cant't tell where the panel was painted and where it was not...
