Satin Black, Rustoleum works fine but some might say use SEM brand or whatever... Rustoleum is just fine for this stuff. The key is prepping them, use some steel wool and then lacquer thinner to ensure that there are no oils or dirt on the surface.

when going for the black grill "look", I personally like to use rustoleum gloss white. It has a lot of "pop".

I used krylon semi flat black on mine. Did get some little chips in it over the winter. But i went back to chrome kidneys today.

I used SEM satin black to paint my cowels, grilles, wiper arms and shadowlined the chrome window trim. Worked well, very please with the results. SEM worked great for me. I'm sure others will work as well.

Used SEM for mine a few weeks ago. Works very good. Nice even coats and propper prep is a must for it to last.

Use clear coat on the chrome part, bumper paint or SEM trim paint on the black.

SEM is available at most upholstery supply stores.

Oh yeah, just wipe the chrome down with 0000 steel wool and mineral spirits. Then apply the clear paint.

Are there any particular "name brand" stores that carry SEM, because I've looked at Autozone, Discount Auto Parts, and Sherwin Williams and none of them have it?
