    Even I wasn't that dumb at 19 years old.

    So it's too hard to pop rivet some sheet metal onto a rusted ass floorpan, yet cutting it out, welding in support bars, and then just slapping 18 layers of fiberglass is a piece of cake?

    I can imagine 18 layers of airpocketed fiberglass rolled onto the floor already

        no. You are in Texas, for cryin out loud!!!! That's rust-free e30 heaven!! surely you can find something without rust. I had to ship a car from Cali to Indy to get one without rust. Surely you can find a good one within an hour of your house.

            Dude - I've seen the car. Junk it.

            Save up some cash and buy one with a blown motor or something.
