soo im all set on how to get the valence on. Do the rear sliders just bolt on somewhere or am I going to have to fabricate that as well?

Damnit Fporro, your cab's are so cleannn!

Is it me or the first pic shows your red with tan int. and the next pic it has black? You swap? Which car you have now?

I was on the same boat as all you, just finish the plastic bumper swap 2 weeks ago. I didn't use the stock slider to mount mine. Here's what I did:
Use the existing hole from the db shroud and drill a hole through the bumper. Mounted it up with a m8 bolt and plastic washer. And a bolt inside the fender wall.

            Here some info on it:

I used a Racing Dynamics apron, bolted to bottom of bumper.

As far as plastic sliders/brackets, mountem to bumper, mock it up and eye where to drill 1/4 panel.
Bracket alouds adjustments and hole willbe hidden by bumper. so is all good.

Visualise it ... factory brackets mount first, then bumper slides onto them., backward mock will work for placing.

So how did your sliders mount in the back? i think the bodywork is a little different in the back so there isint a flat surface to mount them on

someone once told me you dont like convertibles cause with the top down it messes up your hair?

so why dump a butt load of money in a convertible? why not get a is or a regular coupe?

that is exactly what i was going to suggest. mounting it to the bottom of the rear bumper, no need to add a rear valance.

I have a late model '88 with the metal rear valence, I think it would have came out better mounting it to the bumper instead of siding it onto the valance.

                    See sig.

i think i saw a thread of yours a few weeks ago. i liked the look of the smoother and lower rear valence. Where did you get yours?

So does anyone use the rear sliders when mounting the rear bumper and how did you affix it? I dont think there is a flat spot to mount the sliders because the bodywork begins to curve downward there

ya im collecting all the parts before i put anything on. i have to paint everything at the same time anyways. my front bumper is red!
I just want an idea of all the fabrication work i have to do before i start taking my car apart. dont want to get halfway through then realize i have some huge hurdles to get over.
