meh i dont think the rear apron is available new from the dealer without getting the whole rear end because its one piece. i would have to get the apron and the bumper together. but then i would have to get the front bumper to match the rear bumper. then i would have to get the front valence so the front bumper dosent look silly. next thing i know im selling my left nut for a full tech 2 kit:tsk:Originally posted by smonkbmwlet the fun begin aka flaming about fake tech2 bits.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment

I got mine from eurostyle. Go to maxbimmer.com and he advertises there. Plastic bumpers and a rear apron is going to be a lot cheaper than a real mtech kit. If you can find one.

jeff it was a joke. i was just making the point that the non fake mt2 rear apron isint available seperate from the rear bumper so i would have to get a replica unless i was going to get the full kitYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.Comment

;)
I used a Racing Dynamics apron, bolted to bottom of bumper.
As far as plastic sliders/brackets, mountem to bumper, mock it up and eye where to drill 1/4 panel.
Bracket alouds adjustments and hole willbe hidden by bumper. so is all good.
Visualise it ... factory brackets mount first, then bumper slides onto them., backward mock will work for placing.
