Where do you guys buy the SEM trim paint? I need a couple of cans.. is it stocked at mainstream hardware stores? Do I need to hit up a specialty store? or should I just order it off the net?

Hey just scotch brite (or "lightly" sand) clean, prime, clean again need be, then paint using rust oleum paint. Works good mine have been black since this last fall. Prep is everything.

Hey cobraken it is good stuff. Use the rustoleum satin black. Has good color to it. Dad uses it all the time and never would use anything else.

[ Reviving An Old Thread ]

I'm actually thinking about doing it. I read Jordan's article [link] and it kinda sparked an interest. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the hardest) how difficult is it to remove the trim? Also which paint lasts longer? Or does it depend on how I paint it rather than what you use to paint it?

                                Here's my car..
