              you would be surprised at how heavy that thing is. seriously. probably more weight lost here than one of those cheesy VIS fiberglass hoods with a warped CF overlay..

                i have mine stripped of the sound-heat deadening and cleaned up and its not that heavy,but cool product nonetheless

                              Stock metal cover with deadening is only 2lb. I'm not interested in the negligible weight saving but as a tidy solution to removing the sound deadening thickness for clearance purposes and complimenting a CF intake plenum.
