TIme for some PERIOD CORRECT MODDING!

    Hey guys,

I keep hearing the term tossed around, so I'm wondering what would be considered a period correct mod.

I get having rims that were used in the the year 1987, but what else. Obviously no one was using neon under-glow, so don't say that.

    Cassette center console.

Headrests with netting and other tubular seats.

    Rad wheels.

    Wood steering wheels.

    Bodacious color choices.

    Gnarly stuff.

Well, anything made by Kamei, Zender, Foha, BBS, EBS design, Racing Dynamics, Alpina, Hartge, and so on.... and so on.... And if i have time. I'll scan most of these out of the catalog. All it is, is old Bavarian auto catalogs from 86-87. But still cool to see the pictures and prices!

Wonder if they would honor old prices... call em up say you just received this catalog and needed the body kit for $300. Not taking no for an answer...

No, you need the aftermarket Alpine with the gigantic knobs.

Additional period correct mods include fuzzy dice, drops, and iS lips.

Ugh. Let's see this one? I recall some nasty look HUs from then. Big ghey silver knobs.

I need to get some cassette tapes. eBay wants like $5 each. I need a yard sale.

Here you go. Kenwood top of the line Cassette pull out and graphic EQ circa 1992. Both still work well and are currently in my M3. Full amber illumination too.

Absolutely do want. To a lot of people, this was the best head unit ever made. Why I turned down a few opportunities to own one I don't know...but yes if you wanted a period correct, but modern top of the line head unit in the late '80's, this was it.
