    Replace your antenna grommet!

    I replaced my antenna grommet yesterday. I had no idea how faded and ugly mine was, till I saw the beautiful new black piece. I paid $2.70 for the new grommet from the dealer, and its a small detail that makes a big difference.

    Mine didn't come with one, and there was a serious water deposit in the rear fender below the radio motor! Not good! Damn previous owners...

            Early models had metal, chrome things. Late models have a black rubber piece. I don't know if they are interchangable.

                  just get rid of the antenna, who listens to radios anyway....
                  actually i still have an antenna it just tucked up under the rear parcel shelf, still get's good reception.

                    Yeah but you had the hole shaved in the back?

                    My antenna is disconnected but its still there. I hate how the back end looks when the antenna come up, and no, I never listen to the radio.

                            To anyone I'm looking for the power window motors; the driver and back windows my car is a 1987 i conv. and I'm looking for those at a good price I know they are kind pricy but I really need them and if you know of a place that I could get that well be really good and also a good place where I can get my plastic window replace also a good and very reazonable price I don't make that much miney but I love my little black BMW she's my baby please help.
