IS Lip vs. Rieger Lip

I've been wanting a rieger lip, for quite some time now. I can't justify the price, but they look soooo good on the e30.

I hear people say,f it's flimsy and does not resist abuse too well, what if you re-enforce it on the back with some cardboard & resin?, maybe some plastic epoxy?

the plastic the original is made of is cheap and hard. it's not flexible enough, it just shatters. it's not a matter of strength at all.

the aftermarket fiberglass ones are made of thin cheap fiberglass, and while being more flexible they don't take impacts very well.

the eurostyle one was perfect, but he stopped producing stuff for E30s years ago; nobody wanted to pay for quality..

How much were the eurostyle ones?, they sound like it was a great product.
