    MTeck 1 Kit for plastic bumper 89-91 E30 ????

I was wondering if the MTech 1 kit is also available for the plastic bumper 89-91 E30.

    Thanks, Mario

No. I've never seen an aftermarket version for that either.

Side skirts will work. But the front and rear is attached via the bumpers, and since the metal euro bumpers are compleatly different then the plastic bumpers, it will not work.

I see, is it possible to convert a plastic bumper to metal euro bumpers?

I have a two door plastic bumper project car, if not then I would have to get a metal bumper car to be able to get the MTech 1 kit.

also, do you know where can I get the metal euro bumpers and OE MTech kit?

        Thanks, Mario

That's why there's an M Tech 1 and 2. You see, the face lift cars have a front and rear valance where the early cars didn't. The front one comes off but the rear one doesn't.

You can put the m tech 1 on the front with the early euro bumper. But what about the back? Will the factory valance be in the way? Cause one would have to use vert end caps on the euro bumper due to the later arch differance on the late model.

I think I am going with the OEM MTech 2 kit instead.

I was hoping that a rear MTech 1 apron was available for the plastic bumpers, just like the MTech 2 apron that I have on my 4 door E30.

Thank you guys for the info. Mario
