I was told it was Kamei, but who knows... It's fiberglass & has a number of cracks that have started to spread, after I clipped some crap on the road. It needs significant repair. I'll let you know if I plan to let it go. ;)

Looks like I'm in the market for some IS side skirts & some sort of matching rear apron. I do have the late model metal apron, but it would need to be completely stripped, repaired, & painted to look correct IMO. Previous owner cut out rust and riveted in a patch panel. Good from far, but far from good. I think an apron with a bit more pop would look nice. At this point it's safe to say, the bavauto kit isn't going to fit the bill. Thanks for the insight guys!

you know, i may be wronge on this one, but unless it has a built in hard bumper (like the thing behind the painted plastic for late models), what would it use to absorb an impact?

Might want to check on shipping first. Last quote for me on shipping was almost the same as the cost for the side skirts. Ended up with IS side skirts instead

For giggles I asked about the bumpers... They are covers to be mounted "over" the plastic bumpers. Seems odd given the pic they show, but that's what I'm told. Dead issue regardless.

I did debate on getting the side skirts as bavauto is a fairly easy trip for me to pick em up, but I'm nervous of how they flare at the ends.
