I have a nice 1/2 hp electric motor for grinding has a decent length shaft haha he said shaft.

so gonna buff out my BBS hardware, purchased some cheap cotton wheels and some red compound. First stud has come out good but damn is this a tedious process. How do you get the recessed section polished? for those who have done this?

I started with a 7" polisher with a sanding pad on it (120grit) to remove the clear anodizing. Then moved on to 320, 400, 500, 1000, 1200, polish.

Yeah right now I'm doing just bolts and nuts for my BBS wheels. I have about 4 sets of bolts to polish so it's gonna take some time to do. Some are coming out better than others. I have had to go back over them a few times.
