Mercedes OEM tinted glass on e30 (ppg solextra vision blue)

So does anyone know if there is any option to replace e30 windows with blue hue tinted windows commonly found in slightly older mercedes? I little bit of google fu gave me the name of the glass called ppg solextra vision blue. I also found this interesting thread on a passat forum.

And the only bmw I found that has this glass is:
Discover the magic of the internet at Imgur, a community powered entertainment destination. Lift your spirits with funny jokes, trending memes, entertaining gifs, inspiring stories, viral videos, and so much more from users like twitchkill.

more googling I find pgw which isn't ppg, so I am not even sure this is the right glass. I did notice selextra is trademark name so more than likely it is just not sure the difference between ppg and pgw.

so my question is, has anyone done it on their e30? if so how did you go about getting this ? price?

Actually I did find something out. It turns out pgw is ppg for glass. My gfs brother is starting at ppg and he was going to ask around for pricing within the week.

Our glass is already slightly blue tinted on US spec cars though. IF you like it and its possible to be made, then that's pretty neat. I'm after the bronze OEM glass though.

Care to elaborate on this bronze OEM glass?

Bronze glass is what a lot of euro cars got, I'm not sure why people want it but they do

For my E39, I ordered an OEM "Climate Comfort" windshield that had to come from Germany. $1600 bucks! Insurance paid for it though, :). Its really cool, keeps the heat down and looks a little bluish from the outside, like the MB S class. Was not an option on NA E39s. As others have alluded to, I guess there were some OEM options for the E30 back in the day for Europe that we never got. Depending on the color combo, that bronze glass sounds really cool.

There's a tint shop near the BMW dealership in Oakland that does some of their tinting, maybe someone passing by can check in? I love the light blue MB tint as well.
