      Thanks for all the help guys. Where can you get engine paint and primer. What about BBQ paint, where do you get this?

        any auto parts store will have Engine paint, or home depot, lowes etc.. will have BBQ paint.

          I used black wrinkle paint. I dont remember who makes it but ill check if you want to know.


          [edit] its not my car, its my buddy joes. I just painted mine and i am in the middle of sanding it off. But mine looks the same. The paint creates a really neat look up close. hence the wrinkle name.

            Is the wrinkle finish applied the same way as normal high temp paint or is there a technique to it?

              the only thing is you have to do 2 thick coats withing 3 minutes off eache other. It has clear directions on the can.

                    You can find high temp paint at homedepot. Also try fireplace/wood burning stoves shops, they will have some.
