      The pitting doesn't bother me as much as the waviness in spots. I guess the only way to get around that is to find some good condition ones from a pick-and-pull.

        Since this was resurrected...I had another thought. Could I take a painted surround from a convertible and repaint them? Are they exactly the same shape as a sedan?
