        I get asked about this part all the time. I too have talked with the gentleman that made these and he had to produce in the 1000s to make it worth it. It really completes the front end. BTW, he also makes the early model fillers too.

                    if you could figure out how to make them personalized you might have something. I agree putting "BMW" on it is risking it. The bean counters are watching now more than ever..

                        I would be all for one that said E30, there is probably more money in that being that you don't have to make a variety for engine, color etc. and also easier to sell.

                              I bought one used awhile ago and I just presumed it was a 7 series filler that someone had shaved down. They were actually produced like that?
