    Tricolor pinstripe?

Has anyone ever come across a thin, tri-color M pinstripe tape? Something of decent quality?

I'm talking about 1/2" total width.

I'd like to put a few small accents on various parts. I don't think I'd actually run it down the sides of the car.

    Thanks!

Edit: Something like this (but with all 3 colors):

BMW made a vinyl M-Tricolor stripe made to run on that upper bodyline. The stripes transitioned to a slanted vertical and would terminate into the top of the fender very much like the r3v logo. I'm sure that kit is long NLA though. I believe my dad has a set in storage for one of his E28 projects.

Stripes are hit or miss IMO, I think the best ones were the ones that BMW put on the euro E24 models which were basically two stripes (upper and lower) that would circle and come together at the front fender.

Part number databases show the graphic add ons. They are NLA.

EBay will have reproductions ...any vinyl shop I bet could remake what you'd like or a pinstripe artist could use a steady hand for what you desire.

These are the two routes I would recommend, the bolded one more strongly if you plan to keep the stripes. My dad had an M535i he had stripes painted onto, and as far as I know they're still in good shape.

You really have to get the right color with pinstripes, sometimes they'll just junk up the looks of your car.

I'm pretty sure these part numbers are for the stripes in the pictures below. I saw them listed on ECS Tuning's site:

funny I just saw a 5 series this week with the tri color and I was thinking about doing it also. you could also try BMW classic program to see if they have pinstripping.
