As someone who has some plasti dip on my car. It does look like shit in person, but on the other hand it looks far better one color then multiple colors too.

Nice, looks good! I've been debating dipping my car yellow. I would wrap it but the texture on the valances would make it difficult I feel.

Looks nice, I'd rock it. Plus it's not a PITA if you want to change it to another color like bronzit

I noticed that If I don't spray heavy coats it's hard to clean off, but alcohol or paint thinner cleans it off real easy.

Cost wise I used 4 gallons in total. I got them for a steal on amazon for 75$. but they are usually 58 a gallon.
    Plastidip Spray: 4*60= 240$
    DYC sprayer and mask= 130$
    Perls : 2*12 = 25$

Total is about 400 including everything

I was lucky and knew someone with the DYC sprayer so my total cost was a little over 100 dollars. But once you have the gun the only expense is the dip itself, and blue 3m tape (which is sooo expensive... I don't know why)

Looks rad! i will say that a friend of mine was saying that plastidip is a PITA to clean, and from my experience its hard to clean too. He had to use degreaser and a sponge to scrub every bit of dip to get it clean.

Not bad, better than primer that doesn't stand up to elements. I did my patio furniture last week with some.

Holy shit. I've always been a fan of semi gloss paint jobs and I know this isn't it but it sure looks like it and it is fuckin AWESOME. I'd rock it

That was funny as heck for some reason.

And I think it looks ok too, looks a lot better than my super dull paint.

A coworker just did his VW blue. While it looks better than shitty paint, it's still not great. A 10 footer at best. I'd be curious how well it stays clean. Seems like dirt and things would stick in the texture and have a hard time coming out.

    Looks good.

I've got the stuff, just haven't sprayed it yet. My plan is to try a few colors out before actually getting a real paint job.
