    I just plastidip my e30!!

    What do you guys think?
It's missing the front bumper covers (which I have) but it's a big improvement from a car that was 4 different colors...

I know it's dipped and I'm expending to get flamed, but hey, it was cheap.
There is a little bit of overspray on the tires, but that will clean up easily.

The car was green. But the hood and the door's were white. and the front bumper was red.

This was 1 gallon of Grey as Basecoat (applied heavy), 2 gallons of Red. Then 50g of Sakhir Red perls in 1 gallon of clear. Total was about 10 coats. Took about 2 hours to spray and another 2 to mask and peel off.
The pearls really change the whole plastidip thing, the colors are not dull anymore.

This was sprayed with the DYC compressor and gun(or any other electric gun). It makes the finish much more uniform than with the spray cans.

I usually hate plastic dip but this doesn't look bad.

                      Looks good.

I've got the stuff, just haven't sprayed it yet. My plan is to try a few colors out before actually getting a real paint job.

A coworker just did his VW blue. While it looks better than shitty paint, it's still not great. A 10 footer at best. I'd be curious how well it stays clean. Seems like dirt and things would stick in the texture and have a hard time coming out.

That was funny as heck for some reason.

And I think it looks ok too, looks a lot better than my super dull paint.
