    Opinions on indicator colours.

    There are basically three options for your front and side indicators; orange, white or black.

    This is how I see them;

    Stock orange;
    Looks good, car looks stock, not really noticeable.

    Clear white;
    Takes the orange away, giving a more modern look and emphasizes the classic e30 shapes in the front.

    Tinted black;
    Takes away the detail and makes the car smoother and cleaner.

    I'd like to hear some opinions on which option you prefer and why?

    I'm an orange fan myself, although clear might look nice on a silver car.

      I have smoked lenses on Frau Blücher... She has DBs and I feel like it simplifies the front end. I don't mind the amber side markers because they pair with the rear side markers on the early body.

      But on the late model cars I think it looks good with the amber lenses in front also. I think it depends on the body color too, some colors don't work well with amber. I hate the egg yolk with clear lenses, get the silver bulbs or spray them.

        Orange or clear, in that order. Smoked lights almost always look tacky to me.

          Orange or tinted with the orange insert behind the smoked lense. Clear looks cheap on a e30.

              Same as before, I prefer the orange but clear is okay. Also, not a fan of the M badge.

                I'm kind of indifferent b/w the orange and clear.

                And I regret not getting the front fenders w/o holes for the indicators. They look bad whatever color. =/

                And you're right, the M-badge gotta go.

                    idk if i would spend $100 on "red" lenses but if they are real prototypes that is kinda cool. Curious to see how those would look on an E30. My opinion for the one above, the black tinted looks best to me.

                        I'd prefer the stock look as well, but depending on the color of the e30, the tinted versions looks pretty good and has a little more consistency with the fog lights.

                          The orange looks surprisingly good on a black car. I vote orange all the way.

                            I have the smoked ones from ebay- looks good on a zinno with the red/black.

                            The yellow highs/fogs are another issue though- its taking me a long time for them to grow on me.

                              I ended up going back to the stock orange on the front.

                              The clear side indicators looks better I reckon though.

                              And I also got some fog lights. =D
