      LOL, dude, that's awesome. :D

I think Burnsey wins. Mike's is bad, but at least it can look normal from some angles.

This whole thread makes me think of an ugly baby contest. It's wrong is so many ways. And yet so right. :p

I'm disqualified too since my car is only a stripped shell now, but this is how it looked ~1,5years ago

Bad paint, DIY smoked headlights, 15" Fondmetals with clearcoat pealed, plastic front conversion, missing lip, fog lights and brake ducts, chrome bumper on back, and no spare time to install front springs.

The plastics are never coming back, I've bought brand new OEM valace and fenders and scored a mint chrome bumber.

I started reconstructing body from front, all the paint and coatings from engine compartment and wheel wells are scrubbed of, the engine bay is now primered and I have new under coat on wells.

I'm replacing both rocker panels and the rear panel too, climate around here is not too firendly for cars, there is no sense doing this kind of repair to +20y old car, but I realy want to conserve this car. Looking forward to get this to painters at late summer 2007.

EDIT: zobelbraunmetallic, and I'm keeping the color.

It had diving boards, stock suspension, bling bling rims, automatic transmission, and almost 200K miles.

Thats pretty damn ugly if you ask me

and the paint, oh god clearcoat peeling everywhere.

now: (i am not saying this is 'pretty' but it came a long way. a very long way)

Yeah, when i got mine it didn't have hood, fenders, or radiator core in it. it was nasty. But I overlooked all that and still bought it and I am incredibly glad I did.

Does anyone know what rear valence I have? and what I'd have to do to swap it out and get a normal one?

                        - it didn't have the bumper thing on or fenders, but we put 'em on for transportation purposes... you can see there that there is no rad support tho

and here's a better pic of the rear

also. i have some skirts - not sure what they are either, I'll post 'em up when i get the camera back.

Looks to be a Racing dynamics or imitation thereof...Want a normal one? Tear off that ugly sumbitch and youll have your normal early e30 rear valance...nothing.
