Here's my 87 IS restoration from last year. It was owned by a kid that turned a nice car to shit in two years and threw 17" Honda offset wheels that rubbed on the INSIDE of the wheel wells. I had it towed home with no compression in two cylinders. The paint was brown and faded the cardinal interior was pink and ripped and he put autozone chrome trim on all the fenders and windows. 200 hours and 3 months later I took the last two pics.
Edit: I dont know why the picture thumbnails are showing a black car but when you click on them you will see the correct picture.Leave a comment:

This was probably from its worst state. Mid-restoration. I think that 4 colors was my record:

And when it was all done:

Here's a fucking good one. My first E30, 86 325e wearing a nice shade of primer.
[The wheels were a joke and were not usually on it, lol]

I bought that car in August '03, damn. :)Leave a comment:

I'm kicking myself right now for not taking pictures of my brillantrot project 318 before I broke out the polishing compound. It was pretty damn ugly. Pink roof, pink passenger quarter, pink front bumper, and pink driver's rear door. Not gorgeous now either but it passes the 20-foot test with ease, all one color, and I didn't have to paint it to get it that way lol.Leave a comment:

Looks like my last parts car. Oh man it was nasty. Seat covers and junk everywhere. It was so filthy that I felt like I got dirty just sitting in it.
Anyways here's my 325is as I got it, minus the airdam:

Auto and trash in the floor..

And a beautiful engine picture:

Pretty ugly overall, I'd say.Leave a comment:

That was a few months ago...body work is all done, getting new paint next week (same color), new wheels/tires ordered, is lip spoiler, along with a few other things. Live and learn..:pLeave a comment:
