    On a side note, What are peoples opinions on flat black diving boards? i can pull it off it wont look shitty, but regardless they would be flat black. the front has been swapped to '88 shocks so its tucked in about an inch.. I think it would look good [Aslo i have smoked turns on], but want opinons.


    Also i have the late model valance [otherwise this volvo lip would be useless]

    I think what deutshman is getting at is cut off some of the end so that you can mount it, then cut it again once mounted so its even.

    I used black zipties put through holes drilled in the lip. I marked the lip with the existing holes in the valance. No clips, they held it in the wrong position. I also trimmed off about 3/16 from the inner edge of the lip so that the lip fits flush to the valance. Looks way better that way.

    I used zip ties as I didn't want a hard hit/scrape to mash the valance. Hopefully the zipties will give way first.

    Took some time but was fairly easy.

    Think ahead and use black ones people!
