Flat Black iS lip on a Cirrusblau 325i?

How do you guys think it will look? I already have the lip all nicely bondo'd and smooth, just need to hit it with bumper and trim paint. I haven't seen any cirrus blue metallic cars here before, just wondering what it would look like with an iS lip. Also, are there templates for these or should I make a template off of my iS parts car?

Bondo on an is lip? They're made to be flexible, that stuff's gonna pop right off.

Maybe it'll pop right off, but there are some pretty big pitts in it. Worth a shot, no?

Anyone have any pics of a cirrus blue E30?

Here is a picture of a Cirrus Blau E30, but it doesn't have a black iS spoiler. This belongs to Jim Warren. I like his car.

Looks schweet. I love the colour. DO you guys think I should put the iS spoiler on, or is it overkill? It's irreversible, that's the thing I don't like about it.

Cirrus looks really light in pics... that looks more like Sapphire.

a black early IS spoiler on a light colored car might not look that great.. you could get away with it, but I'd plan on painting it body color down the road.

No front lips look good in black unless it's a black car. It's just a cheap way out.

What he said. They always looks better painted. I got my lip for $75 brand new, then decided to not pay 125-200 (all CDN prices) for paint since I'll probably just snap this thing off within a year anyway. It's been 3 weeks and thanks to various parking lots it has touched the ground 5 times.

I'll probably still get another one in the spring and get it painted, just because I'm an idiot though.
