Please you guys, just LET IT GO.

His dad obviously has his reasons. You understanding them isn't required.

I understand that, but it just seems like a waste of time, that's all.

I don't know, I just don't see the point in arguing about it. I'll bow out now.

he didnt want me to get the other things either, but i was able to convince him. but with lowering the car, he thinks that im going to go through tires in 2months and then hes gonna have to buy me new tires, plus he thinks lowering a car that your going to drive on the street is stupid and not practical. I agree with some of his reasons but not all of them, and i cant argue with the man because he does own half of my car and he is still my dad and pays for "a roof to live under" as he calls it.

Im sorry this started a flaming war and i should have realized this was going to happen again, and it will probably happen again down the road. And bryson....what can i say, your just an idoit that helps out no one and you shouldnt be posting here.

the RD rear apron looks really good with the early style lights imo, and last i checked they were in stock at electrodyne.com. i think mtech1 sides would look the best on your car, but i really dont see a point in getting sideskirts when you still owe your dad 1800 and that your car isnt begging for them like a rear valance or a drop ;) .

well ive said it many other times and didnt feel like repeating myself.

                  mattm20.
I know what you mean about the sides. I will hold off on them, but if i come across a good deal on a rear apron ill jump on it. the rd one is going on ebay right now for close to 360 i think, then id have to get it painted on top of that. What do you guys think of the breyton one?

I like how it meets up with the bumper all around.

Matt, I dont know if Mtech 1 sides will work with later style acrhes.

i thought that too, so i went on e30.de to look for a cabrio with mt1 sides and i found several good examples of the mtech1 sides with lower rear arches. i dont know if they had to modify the skirts to line up in the rear, but it didnt look like it did since the skirts just go up to the side molding.

I have the Breyton rear skirt on my car. I love it, but I have it paired to the breyton front and sides so I couldnt tell you how it would look on your car with the IS front. Im not gonna tell you how amazingly hot your car is gonna be with wheels and suspension, and these body bods, because you prolly already know. Its gonna be sick! So picture this. Leave the front the way you have it, its done, do either one ot the these choices..... Breyton rear and sides, RD rear and sides, or my favorite choice. AC schnitzer rear and sides. I have also done a Bumper swap and the breyton skirt fit real nicely and easily. I think the ACS shit, wheels, drop, and smoked lights all around would put you up there with the hottest. I agree with your decision to do the skirt before the drop, your car needs the rear refreshed bad. My friend has a set of ACS sides that I can pick up from him for a decent price. Hope this helped.

edit: Im sittin here trying to picture your car sittin on some powder coated 16 inch cross weaves, ACS sides, ACS rear, GC's, and smoked lights. That would be money. You have an awesome car and you seem like you have good taste. Keep it up. Get the rear done. Ill keep an eye out for something cheap for you, let me know if you want the sideskirts. My 2 cents.. do the ACS or RD rear.

You called me an idiot! You dumb fuck!! I've helped plenty of people here, one of which is not you. That was not a cool remark on your part buddy.
(Yes I do realize this was last august, but it's news to me)
maybe I really should stop posting here, I don't know anything, no, nothing about 24v swaps, or 5 lug swaps, e30 trailers, e30 pickup trucks, or anything about e30s in general ;)
