Hey I know this has probably been talked about. But how do you tuck US Bumpers?? Do I just take the peace out between the bumper and the car, and bolt it straight to the car?? I thought this would be the best place to ask. .

If you look under the bumper you will see two shocks, they are at the mounting points. Get a drill, a bit, and drill your way through them until the fluid inside has came out.
Get a BFH and hit the bumpers till they push in. If they do not go in take the car and drive it into a wall. No but seriously just make sure all the fluid is out.Comment

Search. If that fails, proceed to drive car into brick wall, that will make you feel better about yourself about not buying euro bumpers.
Or, and this might just be my mind wandering off, you could save the embarassment of looking like an idiot driving his car into a wall, save up about $3-400 and get some decent euro bumpers that are made to be shorter so you don't have to drive the car into said wall. I mean, it's way out there in left field, I know, but it just might be a better idea than drilling into a shock (which sounds über-süber safe) or driving the car into a wall.- Trey

To the OP, just drill your bumper shocks like others said. Watch out for the oil thats inside of them (it's under high pressure) Once the oil has drained all out. You can push the bumpers in to where you want them. Sometimes they push in easy other times they need some force to push them in.

My front was able to be pushed in after drilling, the rear had to meet a wall.
Both made a smelly mess. Both look titties now.
I used lag bolts to hold the front where I wanted it to be...Comment
