Point taken JasonC, but euro bumpers aren't that expensive even for the baggypants on a budget. Decent, non-rusty sets can be found (shipped) for less than $500. But I see what you're saying.

You will have PM when I get them back from the guy who is refinishing them, I'm going to try to get down there within the next week (or whenever I can separate myself from the computer, whichever occurs first.)- Trey

Are you saying that euro bumpers are safer than na bumpers with compressed shocks?
OP, wear safety googles! and clothes you don't give a shit about so you can throw them out when you're finished.Comment

The silence thing makes everyone lol.
I think you complain just to complain. I'm trying to give the guy an alternative to bumper tucking and you are just whining and complaining. Shut it.- Trey

to the OP, ive found that if you jack up the each end of the car as you drill the shocks, the smelly oil doesnt come out. just air, then when you compress them, the goo all shoots outOriginally posted by kronuspff, all of you are slow as hell anyway. Eta > allComment

i took by bumper/shocks off the car, drilled the hole and put them in a vice to compress them. controlling where all that nasty oil goes is important. it is vile stuff.Comment
