ROFL "My New Carbon Fiber Doorpanel"

    HAHAHAHA...

    I need some practice.

This is my first attempt with fiberglass or carbon fiber ever, so dont be too mean.

Its really flimsy, so I'm going to try using my thicker stuff, along with a quality epoxy resin (vs this shit that i bought at schucks), and maybe bag it.

And i might take time to actually cover the whole panel in resing :)

I just thought everybody might be able to use a good laugh :-D

haha, nice "try" i guess? lets see a final product, but i even think the final product will be stupid as hell, why not make something importand instead of useless out of CF? but i guess keep at it...

haha, rocker panels probably would have been a better idea, but I figure while I'm waiting on the rest of my parts for my m50 swap, I might as well have some fun.

If anybody has fiberglass/carbon fiber experience, feel free to chime in, pointers etc. :)

              Thanks

Cosmetic or not, it's still going to lose weight.

Talk about a fucking dust magnet tho. ;)

i guess i just dont get what part this is supposed to be replacing. is this replacing the door card or is it the actual panel being replaced closing off the regulator and window motor etc etc?

I applaud your efforts. If you can get them finished looking with gel coat, what would you ask for a full set of 4 (for 2 door)?
