Lower back support was a factor with my Tenzo's but I just stuffed more foam behind that area of the seat...problem solved. If you should get them reupholstered you can stuff them how you want. for cheap seats.Originally posted by e30evolutionthey dont look like they have any lower back support... you back will hurt in a matter of weeks"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

I don't think it's that much of a concern. It's not like the seat surrounds the driver completely like a cage or something. Seat backs are probably designed to break away.Originally posted by panasoanicAm I the only one who doesn't trust cheap seats to hold up in an accident? Spend a little more or risk having to spend the rest of your life in one. Lowest I would go would be something from Corbeau.

Hey guys, I got those same seats from ebay for my 89 325i. I bought a pair of Recaro racing seat adapters in hopes they will fit my seats. the Rrecaro adapters attach on top of the sliders of the stock seats, therefore bolts to the car perfectly. The only problem is that the bolt pattern of the Recaro adapters is wider than the bolt pattern of the seats. All I have left to do, is get some 1/4" thick steel strips to bolt across the Recaro adapters so I can bolt the seat to those strips. I can't wait to get them in. I will post pics when finished.

The Recaro seat adapters were $350 for the pair (got them at cost). Yeah, it's kind of expensive, but I would rather do that than drill holes in my floor and shove some bolts through. This way, it utilizes the sliders from the stock seats and bolts perfectly to the floor. Good Luck

God what a waste of money
I guess if you ever get recaro's you can just swap em out, but hell. If i'm paying 400$ for cheap seats in the first place, i'm not going to spend $350 for a way to mount them, i'll go with 40$ fabricated brackets instead, and still not have to drill into the floor.. damn.Comment

If you want to be technical and a shit head ACS didn't make the seats, Recaro did. ACS just put their name on it and probably the specs.Originally posted by schnitzer teil-jägerOriginally posted by DigitalwaveACS never made racing seats.Originally posted by DSchultz325ethey make these with an ACS logo (like our beloved pedals) or you are getting real deal schnitzers?
I think the material these seats are made of look really shitty. They are going to look really lame in a stock baby blue E30.

no, no seats, not ever, not them....
