    clean mtech1 wheel

    what would be the best way to get a m-tech 1 wheel clean? i just picked one up at the local junkyard for $15 and it feel sticky from sitting with dirt i guess.

      A leather cleaner. If you scrub too hard, or use a harsh chemical cleaner you may do more damage than good.

        I used reducer on mine and it was fine. Check a spot on bak with it first just 2 double chek

          along the same lines how much would it cost to get it re-wrapped in alcantara? i've gotten some outrageous quotes and want to be sure...i was thinking of cleaning my mtech but i think it might be easier to re-wrap it

            What prices have you been quoted, that sound outrageous?
            I think a lot of people don't understand the concept of tidious (spell check) labor that goes into the recovering, re-wrapping or reupholstring of such items like the steering wheel. Check with any do-it yourselfers and they'll probably tell you this (next time just pay a shop to do it for you)

              Try wheelskins.com, they look and feel good imo, and for about 40 chucks they're hard to beat.

                Wheelskins are supposed to be nice, I've heard a lot of people say they ripped one or two of the holes when putting it on though.
