Very cool but wouldn't dig the added weight.

They look pretty good in the pic. I'm a big fan of the E30 sport seats as they seem to fit me just right and I think they are proprtionate to the car. I doubt that I would consider this mod but I can see why it is of interest to others. The power option is kool.

They even go up and down while i am sitting- i have to change my weight around a little of course. I picked mine up for 300 on ebay about three years ago

              Pics

Sorry for the delay everyone, I started a new job and have had a really crazy schedule. Heres the few pics that I had uploaded the day I finished the install. As for a write, Ive had alot of request and still plan on it as soon as I have time. Unfortunatly I may have lost the SD card that had the pics of the installation in progress, so the writeup may be text only.

bump this thread for more info. I may pick up a pair of pristine e46 M3 seats for my e30. Anybody have a DIY on this. I dont think I need tracks. Seems the ones Im buying have those included, but not for sure.

Com'on now.... help a bratha out here

Meh, don't like them. Way too new and boring looking. They look like they could have come out of any old new model car.

Too soft, round, curvy. Leather looks very thin actually.

those look great. I wonder the weight difference on manuel vs electric? I forget what my manuel ones weigh, wasn't too bad.

def looks comfortable, but the seats look sort of bloated/chunky in the e30... how easy is it to access the seat controls on the sides??

Did you run a fuse for the + side? If so, what number did you put in it?

I ran the a wire directly from the main post in the hood with a circuit breaker for safety. Blocke said his went via his cigarette lighter so he will pop a fuse if he operates both seats at the same time.

I assume those are for a 4dr since I dont see a seatback release. They dont look too bad from the pix but I might stray to the originals if I saw the comparison side by side in the car.
