    Black Headliner for $7

I finaly pulled the trigger and dyed my headliner. I used the Duplicolor Vinyl Paint/Dye. I will list a writeup and pics after I go and kill a christmas tree, but for the money and time it looks amazing.

I will pull it out and take pics today but here is the quick and dirty.

        Step
        1. Pull all of the seats front and back
        2. Remove Parcel Shelf
        3. Remove Sunroof headliner
Yes it is a PITA but it is worth it.
        4. Remove front door and and side window seals
        5. Mask the hell out of everything and use drop clothes the rear window is the most
        important masking job.
        6. Wipe everything down with acetone and let it dry.
        7. Spray slowly and in multiple coats.
        8. Air it out for a day

        Bad pics in a second.
        8. Walk away alot because the back of the car will hold the fumes and mess you up.
        9. Un mask and reassemble
        10. Use paint clay to remove any overspray that floated out of your open sunroof.

Any area that looks light is due to the flash coverage is complete trust me I went over it with a flashlight. It is a flat finish that only reflects under flsh and spot lights otherwise it lloks like freshly spray semi flat black.

Any wear showing now? I'm skeptical on vinyl dye since everyone uses it for everything.
                    Jah bless! :pimp:

I used the colorbond black vinyl dye, left it in the car....masking it off was a pain but im sure nowhere near as bad as taking the headliner out completely and then putting it back in. looks stock, even the texture remains, had it in for over a month and I cant even scratch the black off with my fingernail.
