      Awesome jordan, as usual.

Have any tips on getting into fabrication work like this? I'd start googling but i have no idea where to start.

Dunno. I don't often read guides or writeups. I just do it.

VERY nice looking. Much better then that flat piece of plastic you had in there. ;) That was the only piece in your interior that I didn't like. lol

Are you going to block off the airflow to the back of the guages? I can imagine that having the heater on might not be too good for the guages and/or make them read inacruatly (atleast temp guage).

Are you planning on putting something in that blank spot beside the deck?
It won't be there for long. Jordan and myself are both getting the non-OBC heater panel from the european-market 316i.
There's no spot for the OBC, and the stereo opening is centered in the panel.

and the advantage of this is...........?

i always found the clock and temperature to be a nice feature... why eliminate it? just for the sake of being different?
different ? I don't think so , almost every E30 has it in Europe

If so many in europe got it why dont you grab a few and mail them to me.

God, that look 1000 x better than the one with the OBC hanging out on one side.

I like my obc personally, but to each his own.

If i got time enough i can collect a few consoles and send m up to some r3vers

The only functional benefit I see of having the non-OBC panel would be the ability to install a fold-out screen headunit, a lot of them hit the cruise stalk when opening.

I'm not doing it to be fucntional. I'm doing it because I think the OBC is useless, and I think it looks MUCH better aesthetically to have the deck centered in the panel. That's all.

If you are serious about doing that, and they are in perfect condition (no cracks, gouges, discoloring, etc), I will be in first in line 100% to buy one from you.
