Somehow I doubt S2000 seats just drop right in and bolt up to E30's. E36, Honda, Audi... most certainly do not just bolt up. Plus all those seats are probably a lot heavier than stock E30 seats.Originally posted by formula driverLook at Honda s2000 seats. They are badass lookin seats. Im almost possitive they bolt right up with no modification. They are still sport seats. They are affordable, over all just a good choice for a seat replacement. I almost bought a set but I went racing seats instead. Try lookin at Ebay seats. They are all close to 25 pounds, there cheap, and a lot of them are good lookin seats. I am using a set of DAD's and I love them. They are 25 pounds and look really nice. You can use almost any seat you want. You just have to make custom sliders. I have heard of Audi seats working, honda seats, E36 and so on. Hope this helped.
And how many of you have actually ridden in a car with fixed back buckets that fit you? I think you are all afraid of not being able to recline, but if you sit properly anyways, it doesn't matter at all. I love my seats, and they don't even bother me on 3+ hour long road trips.
Plus, they are 18lbs.

S2000 seats do bolt right up. All four bolt holes line up pertect. They probobly weigh 30 pounds. A lot less than a heavy ass stock seat.
No... Ive never sat in a fixed back seat like that. Im tall as fuck and I got back problems. I couldnt rock that seat you have. I like it though and it is light as shit. When I spring for nice seats Im gonna get the speacial addition sparco milano its like a dark red color. My car will be all white with black windows and black ///M leightweights. They would look sick.
The seats that Jake posted are pretty nasty, hes got em trimmed in suede too  . Very nice seats. You should look into a cheap set of racing seats from ebay. Take a look see what they got. They usualy have a bunch of differnet kinds to choose from.

I just took a look around on ebay... are these the ones that seem to be quite available? They appear to be a very decent price, it has me wondering if they are of a decent quality... Please give me your opinion as i would greatly consider them at this price!Originally posted by fretburnrI'd like to know more info about those, who makes them / where to get them etc.Originally posted by erik325iNice! Are the comfortable? do they provide good support, both lateral and forward? (anything is better than my OE non-sports!) do they feel pretty high quality.. material, fit/finish, construction? I appreciate it!
edit: also, how easy was it to adapt them to fit in the e30?Jay

I just got a pair of off brand racing seats from ebay so I can answer most of these questions. I didnt get the same exact seat so I cant comment on quality. Installation is not easy by any means. You have to find a creative way to use the sliders from the stock seat. They are light, decent quality, very affordable and comfortable as hell. Yes they provide awesome support.

Does the cloth really look that crappy in real life or is the flash screwing with me? It looks like rayon or something. How heavy are they? ThanksOriginally posted by Kruzen
