I had a set of flo-fit seats in an e21 and they were very roomy.

I just got off the phone with Kevin at creative options, and he suggested Recaro LS's.

They'd be period correct, could be re-done in cardinal (to match the rest of the interior) and they'd fit my fat ass waaaay better.

I'd go e21 recaros if you can find them. Vaders are a good alternative if you can afford them. Comforts? 'eh... no fun falling out of your seat all the damn time, heh.

being of the bacon loving persuasion myself, i also had this problem. i found that after a while the bolsters spread and it became much more comfortable. perhaps look in to spreading them yourself.

LS's are pretty snug. They're tight for me with winter coat on and I'm a 43 jacket.

have you looked into recaro trophys? i am a big guy at 6' 238lbs and i fit into my trophys very well. they are actually a little tight aginst the center console and door panels as they JUST BARELY touch, but they are super comfy and are pretty easy to get your hands on. most will need a little work as the outside bolsters get worn out, but they are cheaper if they need a little work.

This. I'm just about the same size as Greg, 10 lbs or so lighter, and they are wonderful, best seats I've ever sat in. If you find a set, I make and sell brackets to install them onto stock E30 bases.
