I agree about the Mtech 1. That's the wheel that the stock cars should've come with, not as an option.

Too rich for my blood! Plus suede sucks to clean! The leather on the used Mtech 2 i got has plenty of life left and was almost half the price!

No not by spline but by the entire backing hub.

Thanks. If my brain had been working I could've just looked up hub adapters to see what they work on. E28 and E30 can share wheels, or at least use the same MOMO hub adapter.
Seller in the UK claims that the E36 wheel will fit the E30 but I think he's just looking for a sale.

I love my M-tech II but if I could do it all over again I'd get the smaller diameter one.

I really like my M-2 wheel. I would make a point of getting the smaller one. If you recover the wheel add some padding to make it a little thicker. Best of all worlds.

I love my Mtech 2, looks and feels way better than an Mtech 1! Looks very clean inside an e30. No ricer look like MoMo's IMO

The way you hold the wheel feels much more natural, the indents for your thumb feel perfect! completely transformed my driving experience

mtech II wheel has great ergonomics. you can hold it at 10/2, 3/9, or across the spokes and all three positions are comfortable. for spirited driving, the shape also helps you get firm grip. i went from mtech I to mtech II and i'm glad i did.

I like the M-Tech II, but honestly the prices put me off.
I got this 350mm Momo for less than half the price of a small diamater M-Tech II and really like it. It does block the gauges tho.
