Red number "3" pool ball, made by Aerosmith Belgian Billiards Company. It's drilled to fit the oem shift pin, it's weighted for an authoritative "throw" when shifting, and IMO fits the palm perfectly.

oh snap - I recall some guy or company that sold cool billiard balls of your choosing - but then they had a quick-release coupler that kinda turned me off.

I do think the size and weight of a billiard ball would be ideal.. and I've secretly liked those 'softball' shift knobs that some camaros came with..

of course we all know that the greatest shift knob of all time has to be the skull with eyes that light up red..

Yeah I've seen them online. wasn't too fond of them either. I had an extra set, so I practiced on the 12. After I worked out the details, moved on to the 3.

They come up from time to time for sale, but you have to cut the connector off and tap into the rear ash tray or similar for power.

If I recall correctly, BMW sells a retrofit harness that makes it so you don't have to clip your wires.
