Sorry bud, maybe theres a good shift kit out there for the autos, maybe a lockup torq converter. Maybe a reverse gate so you can bang the auto off the line..

there's got to be something to make it more fun for you...

      turbo!?!

Hey if you find a 524td manifold I'll send you my adaptor kit.

5toes you could just get steptronic or tiptronic, that would be a little more simple

And there is a junker 524td for sale in my parts.

They were NLA last year when I was looking for it, so I ended up with the same one but in Napa leather, not alcantara

I'm looking forward to getting my custom-lathed delrin knob from Rob for the 30. Hope it has decent weight to it.

Thought I'd bump this thread back up with my newly-modified knob, Andrew took it to work and milled a recess out of the top to fit a 5-speed ///M shift pattern emblem!

I had a ZHP and I didn't really like it. It looked too out of place with the brushed aluminum and M shit. Also my shifter is really notchy and sometimes the ZHP would make it hard to go into gear since it was shorter. I put the stock anatomic leather knob back on, and i love the way it looks and feels. I REALLY want an illuminated one piece knob like what was posted earlier, I just can't bring myself to piss away money like that.
