    E30 m3 cluster for 24v swap?

I'm struggling to find correct information regarding the E30 M3 cluster. I was wondering if it is possible to use that cluster with an E28 M5 coding plug for my OBD1 M52. My e30 is a 1991 318is, if that makes a difference.

-Would the fuel gauge read incorrectly?
    -Would the tachometer be accurate?

    Any help is appreciated

you would need the right sensor to get the oil pressure working, ive looked into it, but the price of an M3 cluster is too much for the little gain you get from one

Dont care about oil pressure. Dont care about price.

I want the 8k tach, OEM red needles, and "M" logo.

          Anybody have any success?

-you can swap in your fuel gauge, but it depends what fuel level sensor the M3 came with, it might work out of the box.
-yes, with the M5 coding plug

Some soldering will be required if you use the M5 coding plug. You remove the chip from it and solder it onto a regular E30 coding plug.

Use the E30 M3 oil temp sender for the correct oil temp, its easy to wire as well.

I am using an e30 M3 cluster and e30 325is coding plug (white) everything works for me but my RPMs do read about 500 higher than normal becuase the numbers on the tach face are clocked over a bit to go to 8k but the needle will sweep the same and read correct if I were to swap in a 325is tach which I am too lazy to do... oh an my oil temp isnt hooked up but I dont have a problem with that for now
