    New molded E30 carpets

1982-1986 BMW 325i carpet Heat and Pressure Molded to the original floor pan, made with Top Quality auto carpet materials. Carpet fits BMW 325i 2 Door Coupe just like OEM when installed.

No more spray paint to get a black carpet! This site was recommended to me by a co-worker. He replaced a truck carpet with one from this site and said it fit great, with minimal trimming required.

    Might be useful...

Here is a link on the subject.

My first impression of the carpet was really good. Unfortunately, when I installed it, the first impression went out the window. The transmission tunnel was not centered of all things! The drivers side floor had too much carpet, and the passenger didn't have enough. On top of that when it sat in the car it was almost like it was crooked. I didn't have enough carpet to fully go up the firewall under the glove box, and I had way too much material behind the drivers seat.

I ran it for a year and went back to stock.

Here is a good picture of it right before removal. Note all the extra carpet on the drivers side and the slit I had to make on the passenger side so I could actually get the carpet to lay down correctly at passenger feet area.

And finally the bad carpet is gone! I do feel bad though, I got that carpet for Christmas from my sister. I really wish it was better quality like the website had claimed. Fortunately it wasn't an arm and a leg, I should have know something was up by the price.

I also re-plugged all the holes on the chassis while I had the opportunity.
OEM carpet in (not cleaned yet) You can just tell the difference in quality but the way this carpet looks, sits, feels. Im glad to be back to factory.

They are cheap for a reason

I think I'll just dye mine eventually. They don't have one that fits an ix anyways.

My dyed one still looks good after 4 years, and my carpet was trashed bad.

A thorough pressure washing, a week to dry (welcome to Oregon) 5 cans and a scrub brush.

              Closing SOON!

Does anyone know of new carpet that isn't craptastic? Mine is quite worn and has holes. I've dyed it, but despite my best efforts the worn areas can't hold the dye for very long before the original color comes back. :(

I didn't realize that the e30 m3 has a bespoke carpet. Why would it be any different? The ix is the only model with a different carpet AFAIK.

                      what does "bespoke" mean?

afaik, e30 m3 carpets are the same. the one in my m3 looks exactly e30 to me.

ix carpet is different. cabrio carpet is different.

Made to order. Like it is only for that particular person/place/thing.

One of my pals in CT did some extensive work on his carpet with a rental steam cleaner from home depot... and this was a tan carpet, VERY dingy and gross. Came out looking new, and his car smelled super good after.

I think if you got your hands on a used carpet with no holes in it/ major wear, you'd be good to go with cleaning it up.
